A title that was only achieved with the contribution of all the people who have passed through here, and have turned our cuisine into a rich blend of ingredients, spices, flavors and cultures. And all this heritage is now in all of our hands.
MORE THAN JUST PRIDE, A RESPONSIBILITY.

Florianópolis, as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy is planning to hold:
- The production of an annual international festival of gastronomy with the participation of guest chefs from other creative cities.
- The creation of a biennial award given to the best restaurants in Florianopolis, based on criteria that encourage the improvement of services and products offered.
- The publication of an annual guide of quality gastronomy in Florianópolis.
- Conducting a workshop with experts on the topic of creative cooperation between design, crafts, gastronomy and tourism. The goal is to design, develop and offer bars and restaurants products and utensils for the preparation and presentation of dishes.
- The creation of the National Gastronomy Observatory. The goal is to expand the circulation of information relating to the food chain through the production, study and global dissemination of data.
- The expansion of academic exchange programs for students of gastronomic schools and technical/professional exchanges for industry professionals.
- The creation of the Cultural Innovation Center. The goal is to have a multidisciplinary workspace, sharing knowledge and experience to understand the cultural phenomena that outline a certain territory, focusing on Creative Economy with an emphasis on gastronomy.
